larger image 		4150 Modified Resulphurized is a free-machining chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. It is a relatively high hardenability alloy so that in the heat treated condition it has good overall strength and toughness. Being a resulphurized steel, it machines easily. It is supplied in the heat treated condition to a Brinell hardness of 262-311.
